Movie review - Hatchet 3 (by Decker Shado)

Wiki Article

"Hatchet III" (2013) is the film about horror that continues to tell the tale of Victor Crowley, the evil ghost. BJ McDonnell was the director that is the third and last installment in Hatchet's film series. Kane Hodder, Zach Galligan as well as Danielle Harris star in this film.

The movie follows Crowley the local hunters and the survivors of previous films as they are pursued by Crowley. Crowley's backstory and how he became a vengeful ghost are also explored within the movie.

The film's cast and crew did an excellent job in bringing these characters to life. Kane Hodder, who played Crowley, brought an intense performance to the role. The practical effects used by Crowley (blog) to bring the evil ghost to life were very impressive and added to the film's horror aspect.

One of the highlights of the film was its use of real-world special effects. They were well-done, and added to the terror element. The pace of the film was well-constructed, and made the audience stay on the edge.

The film's downsides are its fact that it follows the same plot as the other films in the series. The plot was confusing at times, making it hard to follow.

Overall, I enjoyed "Hatchet III" although it was very similar to the other films in the Hatchet film series. While the film's pace and effects on the practical side were excellent however, the plot and the familiarity of the storyline was not my favorite. This movie is a must-see If the series is your favorite and you like slasher films.
